Terms and Conditions for Thrivve Spotlight Awards Nominations

Eligibility:

Nominees must be current or former international students in Canada or former international students who studied in Canada. Exception applies for Best International Student Support Initiative Award, Teacher of Impact Award as mentioned in the specific category requirements.

Nominations can be submitted by educators, peers, and community leaders.

Submission Requirements:

Complete the nomination form with detailed information about the nominee’s achievements and contributions.

Submit a high-quality, landscape video (2-5 minutes) of the nominee telling their story, including how long they have been in Canada and their accomplishments related to the award criteria.

Ensure all required fields and supporting documents are included in the submission.

Deadline:

All nominations must be submitted by 30 September 2024. Late submissions will not be considered.

Selection Process:

Nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee based on the criteria outlined for each award category.

The committee’s decisions are final.

Confidentiality and Privacy:

Personal data provided in the nomination form will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of the awards.

Information will not be shared with third parties without consent.

Use of Submitted Materials:

By submitting a nomination, nominators and nominees agree that videos and materials may be used for promotional purposes, including in a documentary-style video to announce winners and articles.

Acceptance of Terms:

Submission of a nomination constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions by both the nominator and the nominee.

Thrivve Magazine reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or cancel the awards if necessary.
